Add the latest digital control technology (DCC) to allow realistic operation.

 

Adding DCC to a basic train set costs from around £80 for an entry level controller. Also each locomotive used on the layout requires its own decoder unit from £12 each. (Fitting extra or buy ready fitted).

 

Most new locomotive are "DCC Ready" and have the neccesary connector inplace ready for attaching the decoder, thus saving the need to cut and join wires to fit the decoder.
